Our nails and skin are the most affected in the winter. So to keep nails and skin beautiful in winter, I want extra care, and that care must be proper. My report today is about how to take this care. Let’s take a look.
Winter hand foot and nail care
Table of Contents
Hand and foot care lotion:
The use of lotion is essential in the winter. Because lotion protects the skin from roughness, before buying this lotion, you must check the ingredients in the lotion. If shea butter is mixed in as an ingredient, then no more. Can be taken with the eyes closed. Because shea butter makes the skin soft and smooth. It protects the skin from roughness.
Don’t forget to pay attention to another aspect, and that is the use of moisturizer in winter. The best time to use moisturizer on hands and feet is after a shower. In winter, a lot of water dries up from our skin, due to which the skin of our hands and feet feels tight. The function of a moisturizer is to fill the lack of water in the body and revive the skin so that it is very soft, even in winter. You can also use avocado essential oil or sunflower oil.
Not only this, the skin becomes rough and dead during the winter, which necessitates exfoliation. You can find pumice stones in the markets near you, with which you can gently exfoliate the dead skin of the feet and hands by soaking them in light, warm water for a while when the skin is soft. The best time to exfoliate is during the shower. Because the skin becomes soft, it can be exfoliated without any pain.
Nail Care:
The best time to take care of nails in winter is right after a shower. Gently push the nail’s cuticle inward with the cuticle pusher. Then gently massage your nails and fingers with olive oil or lotion for a while. Then remove any oil or lotion you used and finish the job with a nail hardener. Nail hardener works as an aid to strengthen nails, and cuticle oil helps keep nails strong and healthy. To finish the nail care, apply cuticle oil to the nails.
Remember:
1) Do not wash your hands and feet frequently in the winter.
2) Use good handwashing.
3) If you have a fungal infection on the nails, do not keep it for a long time. Get treatment quickly.
4) Exfoliate at least once a week with a toothbrush or pumice stone.
5) To strengthen the nails, warm olive oil and apply it to the nails with cotton every night. One can apply Vaseline or cuticle oil if desired.
6) Never wash your hands and feet in very cold or very hot water. In that case, it is better to use lukewarm water.
7) Rub lemon cells on the nails to remove the yellowness of the nails.
8) Apply a base coat to the nails before doing any manicure.
